Anand and Carlsen played their rematch in November in Sochi, Russia. Not so easily, Carlsen eventually won match 6.5 : 4.5. Although, Anand, after first being defeated, instantly equalised and even missed enormous chance to get top. Later, Carlsen simply punished disapointed and indisposed Anand retaining a title. Maybe Anand is not too old to fight for crown, as often is written. I think the most important Carlsen advantage was self-confident and Anand’s lack of it. I think Carlsen is simply strongest in world because there are not such self-confident top players. His chess knowledge is not the biggest, but still somehow he is No 1. Soon or later, he will lose crown, I predict, in match against Caruana, Grishchuk or maybe Kramnik, they are simply better players than Carlsen. Lets see what will happen…
